Ross Eberman is president and owner of Carpe Diem Books and brings forty years of book management and marketing/sales experience to the business. He is responsible for the sales and marketing, and for orchestrating projects from concept through editorial development, design, and production to delivery of finished books. Previous positions include being a book buyer for Waldenbooks, special sales manager at Little Brown (Time-Life trade publisher), director of corporate sales at Graphic Arts Center Publishing, and director of sales and custom publishing at Tehabi Books, a book packager.
Dick Owsiany provides project management with more than thirty-five years in prepress, printing, binding, and packaging. He has worked in commercial printing, producing catalogs for Macy’s, Bloomingdales, FAO Schwartz, and Victoria’s Secret; annual reports for American Express, Columbia Pictures, and Mercedes Benz; and corporate anniversary books for companies such as British Petroleum, John Deere, and International Harvester–Navistar. He has also worked in book publishing and produced hundreds of high-end art and trade books, and other custom publishing projects. His knowledge, skills, and experience in managing large corporate and trade book projects, and his ability to produce multimedia presentations, make him a most valuable partner.
